How does it work?
Standing Order – The Sassy Farmer offers a weekly menu of seasonal produce and artisan goods. Each week, members will receive a new menu of items via e-mail and an online order form. You simply choose the items you would like to receive, e-mail us back the order form and we will deliver. It is as simple as that. There is a minimum order of $35.00 which includes the delivery fee. In order to receive our service you must sign up to receive a bin every week or every other week. That way, we know how many delicious veggies we need to grow!
The Sassy Farmer Totes - The menu changes each week to offer the best in seasonality and freshness. You’ll love the flexibility and ease of adjusting your order!

Going on vacation?- Don’t worry about going on vacation, skipping an order can be done by email, phone or managing your own delivery schedule online. Suspensions must be turned in by Monday at noon the week of your scheduled delivery.
Online Customization - Members can easily customize their fruit and vegetable bin’s contents online several days in advance of their delivery. All modifications to orders must be finalized by Monday at noon the week of delivery. You can add milk, cheese, bread, and several other grocery items to your order as well.
Scheduled Delivery Day - A scheduled delivery day is assigned to each member depending on where they live. We are currently serving Niagara and Orleans Counties. A Sassy Farmer employee will contact you to confirm your delivery day of the week. Every other week schedules are also allowed. Businesses are welcome as drop-off locations. Please inquire about our discounted rate for drop-off locations and members who refer 5 or more customers. We will be delivering between 2 and 8 p.m. on the following days:
Thursday–Orleans /Erie County
Friday–Niagara County
Home Delivery - Your Sassy Farmer order will be delivered to your home or business in a mid-size reusable plastic bin. Produce items will be bagged separately and placed into re-usable grocery bags. Refrigerated grocery items will go into a reusable insulated bag.
Business Delivery – The Sassy Farmer offers a healthy and convenient alternative to grocery shopping for the busy professional. Let us know if your work place is interested in our delivery service. We offer a 5% discount to businesses that average over 5 orders a week.
Totes – Your first order will come in one of our reusable plastic bins. The day of your next scheduled delivery leave the bin you received with your first delivery outside for us to pick up. Your delivery driver will give you a new bin with your next order and pick up the one previously used. This system is environmentally friendly and keeps your produce happy!
E-mail Confirmations and Reminders – You can choose to get confirmations of your delivery schedule changes and order changes. You can also get reminders to put your bin out on your delivery day.
Payment – The Sassy Farmer accepts credit cards, debit cards and PayPal as payment. Charges and invoices are applied on the same day as a member's scheduled delivery day. Create your account online or give us a ring. Invoices are processed by The Sassy Farmer the day of your scheduled delivery. You will receive your invoice with your Sassy Farmer order. If a member cancels their order before Monday at noon they will not be charged for their weekly or every other week order. The Sassy Farmer provides a secure server for member's financial security.
Gift accounts- Give the perfect gift...a week subscription to The Sassy Farmer or a gift basket of local goods! Feeling generous? Give a donation of a weekly subscription to one of our local food pantries, nursing homes, hospital waiting rooms or Veteran's Hospital!
Simply Sassy – Our weekly newsletter will include recipes, nutritional information, community activities, stories of food, farming, and fun.
The Sassy Farmer's Library- We are offering our members access to our extensive library. Check out the library page and request a book. We will put it in your tote and you can return it at your convenience. Enjoy the books that have inspired us, challenged us, and allowed us to relax at the end of a busy day!
